Summary: Resist Wallet does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external
servers. All wallet data is stored locally on your device.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal information.
Resist Wallet operates entirely on your local device. The only data stored includes:
- Wallet Data: Encrypted seed phrases, public keys, and transaction history - stored
locally in your browser's extension storage
- Preferences: Network settings and UI preferences - stored locally
2. Data Storage
All data is stored locally using Chrome's built-in extension storage API. This data:
- Never leaves your device
- Is encrypted using your password
- Is not transmitted to any external servers
- Is not accessible to other websites or extensions
3. Network Communications
The wallet communicates only with:
- Resist blockchain nodes - To submit transactions and query balances
- No analytics servers - We do not use any tracking or analytics
- No third-party services - All functionality is self-contained
4. Permissions Explained
- Storage: To save your encrypted wallet data locally
- Host Permissions: To communicate with blockchain RPC nodes
5. Your Control
You have full control over your data:
- Export your wallet at any time using the recovery phrase
- Delete all data by removing the extension
- Lock your wallet to require password authentication
6. Security
- Seed phrases are encrypted with your password using industry-standard encryption
- OTS (One-Time Signature) keys provide quantum-resistant security
- Private keys never leave your device
